“Perfect long weekend at Widehay Barn. So rural, peaceful and the views are just fabulous. The sun was shining on our arrival and Kate had kindly put the garden sofa cushions for us. Feet up and glass of wine in hand looking over the fields. Our little dog loved chasing around the garden and the paddock too. Inside the barn was very clean with crisp bed linen and white towels. Plenty of hot water and powerful showers meant the en-suites were hotel standard. The barn had everything we needed from tea bags to old towels for our dog. We’d also arranged a Tesco delivery who found us without a problem. The welcome basket from Kate was a lovely surprise. We’d already ordered Kate’s sausages, bacon and eggs which were waiting in the fridge too (highly recommended). We can’t wait to return.”
